An important aspect of our involvement has been the health ministry. The Sisters take the initiative to organize a coordinated work; Mother and Child Welfare Program in many villages of the district.

The sisters give more priority on preventive health and curative health care in our dispensaries. We organize health related programs such as: immunization campaigns, care and detection of leprosy, health surveys and basic medicine supplies with the support of the primary health centers in neighboring schools,awareness programme on prevention on HIV/AIDS,TB control and General health . Deliveries were conducted in small huts having no electricity as well as in the houses of better off people, now people are referred to the hospitals since the health facilities are developed and villages have the access to such facility .

We promote herbal medicines in order to preserve traditional and locally available medicinal plants.
